One thing I want to add is that Easter and Christmas are both being lumped together in certain posts as pagan holidays. Although I celebrate Christmas, I can understand some concerns about the origins and date. The same concerns don't apply to Easter. Firstly, we know exactly when the crucifixion and resurrection happened because the Bible makes it clear that it was during the feast of Passover. Unless you want to believe that we can't properly account for Passover you can't cast doubt as to the time of the passion of Christ. Secondly, long before Constantine supposedly defiled Christianity with pagan rituals the early church placed great significance on resurrection Sunday and observed it. I think it's actually disrespectful to ignore the celebration of Resurrection Sunday
