Leaving these lies un-challenged is allowing the gospel of the grace of Christ to be maligned from those that would distort it.
The above suggestion is interesting. JP in the video constantly refers to a man in adultery
saying their conscience would condemn them for commiting adultery. But why? Maybe he
loves more than one woman. Where is scripture on his authority on condemnation?
He quotes none. The problem is he would have to quote from the law, which would undermine
his anti-law position. And why should he walk in purity and righteousness? Because it is a
higher way, not sin destroys the soul, destroys his marriage vows to his wife, is hypocracy,
is sin, and sin condemns a man, is against the cross and the work Christ has done in a believers
heart and is wilful if they know it is sin, and stay in this sin, while claiming to know Christ.
And what is the punishment? Rejection from the congregation unless the person abandons adultery,
publically repents and lives honourably with his wife asking her forgiveness? Nothing, no mention
at all.
And why should one not live in adultery? Because it is not the way of grace.
No it is betrayal, a denial of love over lust, a breaking of a solumn oath before God, a sin against
the body. What an empty preacher, what a man who does not understand sin, love and faithfulness.
But Grace777 thinks the video defends JP as a great teacher. Not surprising this is just a splash
of water to cure a deluge of waste that makes no difference.
