I've seen videos of young women (college students) on the street being asked how much a man has to make in order to date her and they say at least 6 figures ($100,000 a year). Some say $1 million.Which standard are you considering?

Granted, no woman should marry a grown child....and with the way these women behave...no man should want to marry a grown lil girl either. Because it's not about playing house....I've seen videos of young women (college students) on the street being asked how much a man has to make in order to date her and they say at least 6 figures ($100,000 a year). If they plan on being stay-at-home wives/moms, then they do need someone making a lot of money, but only the top 10% of men 30 and younger make $100k or more.Do they have their own careers to contribute to the marriage? If they choose to be at home, maybe that's why they are hoping to marry someone with a decent salary or business income.
But they can also make money at home too, like through Etsy. If they have the acumen and discipline and focus, they can make their at home business successful.
Does the video ask what money those women can bring into the marriage too?

Johnny has this thing about single people being inherently selfish, and he keeps preaching about how single people should pair off and make babies for the good of all mankind. If you call him out on this he will invariably backpedal, but only for a moment. Soon he will be back at it.

I agree, I don't like where this thread is going because I see a lot of judgement and generalization that I think Christ would be ashamed to see in us.I honestly don't think they need that much money. It doesn't take that much time to check what is on sale at the supermarket for that week. Or any other store for that matter Also if you make some essentials and things like clothes yourself, it's a lot cheaper.
It's a shame that we are no longer taught full home economics. I know of a couple who has a successful business on Etsy because of all the homemade things they crafted and sold in their store. Really beautiful and useful stuff.

Especially for Christian singles, we don't do the secular sleep around thing, just casual friendship until serious decision. The reason people are not married, is because they are not desperate for marriage.
They are pretty happy with their current state.
So they pick and choose and can't make a decision.
This made me spit out my tea xD yeah having a clear head definitely helps in general decision making and I think the sanctity of that particular act creates a healthy disconnect from the Flesh that we all can always use, but especially single people.Especially for Christian singles, we don't do the secular sleep around thing, just casual friendship until serious decision.
The casual pure friendship helps our head to be clear, but probably over analyzing![]()

Good points but to be honest, successful men making $100k+ are not looking to marry someone who wants them for their money.I honestly don't think they need that much money.
