When it is written "God does no sin", it means that God is not responsible for sin, and nothing that God does can be considered as sin.
It does not mean that God is limited to the the rules He set for man!
God told Abraham to kill his son, and it was not sin,
Yet if I tell a man to kill his son, it is surely a sin.
God is not bound by your view of ethics and morals,
He is above and beyond your comprehension, and all He does works for good.

Let me move this here:
Yes, it is true that God's Laws are for man and do not apply to Him. For example: We cannot take life. But God can. For He is the giver and taker of life. We cannot steal. But God owns everything so there would be nothing for Him to steal. But God would never tell man to break one of His own Laws unless He created another Covenant or set of rules like with the New Testament. Remember Peter? He believed he was still under the Law and it was forbidden for him to eat all those yummy delicious unclean animals. But Jesus Christ fulfilled the Law upon the cross, though. God could then declare that which was unclean as clean. But if Christ did not fulfill the Law upon the cross (With no New Covenant with it's own set of rules), then God could not have said what He did to Peter because it would be going back on His Word or righteousness that He had established.

Daniel was set apart even from his fellow Jews.
You seem to think that alcohol was against the Law of Moses. Quote it then.

Daniel abstained from the meat and wine and pastries because they were the king's, not because they were alcoholic in nature or against the Law. It was out of separation.
Show the verse. Oh, and it was not wine and pastries. It was wine and meats that he refused.

Oh for goodness sakes I'm sick of seeing posts by this guy always causing an argument. To all you who reply stop. If he continues to constantly argue he's either one of two things. 1, A stubborn show off trying to make himself look smarter than anyone else who won't listen to any other opinion. Or 2, He's just a troll looking for a fight. If you want to stop the arguments it's simple as this. DO NOT REPLY. Or is you please you can state your opinion, but if it starts becoming aggressive just get out of there. So there, rant over goodbye

Show the verse for what part? Do I need to show a verse in the Bible that tells me that Jason0047 seems to think that alcohol was against the Law of Moses?

What assertion did I make that you want Scripture for? Be specific, like I asked you in the other thread... the one you never responded to.

Daniel was not a special case. If you believe he was, then you need to show that in Scripture. See, Daniel followed Scripture of the OT, just like everyone else. It's basic common sense.

Also, Daniel did not refuse to eat pastries and wine from the king. This shows that you don't know what you are talking about. Daniel refused the kings meat and wine. Why the meat? Because God told His people (Even Noah) that were clean and unclean animals. Why the wine? Because there are many warnings against it in the Bible.

75 WARNINGS

In fact, there is more Scripture condemning the use of alcoholic beverages than will be found on the subjects of lying, adultery, swearing, cheating, hypocrisy, pride, or even blasphemy.

1) Genesis 9:20-26 - Noah became drunk; the result was immorality and family trouble.
2) Genesis 19:30-38 - Lot was so drunk he did not know what he was doing; this led to immorality
3) Leviticus 10:9-11 - God commanded priests not to drink so that they could tell the difference between the holy and the unholy.

5) Deuteronomy 21:20 - A drunken son was stubborn and rebellious.
6) Deuteronomy 29:5-6 - God gave no grape juice to Israel nor did they have intoxicating drink in the wilderness.
7) Deuteronomy 32:33 - Intoxicating wine is like the poison of serpents, the cruel venom of asps.
8) Judges 13:4, 7, 14 - Samson was to be a Nazarite for life. His mother was told not to drink wine or strong drink.
9) 1 Samuel 1:14-15 - Accused, Hannah said she drank no wine.

Uh huh, I take it you stopped reading at the part of the passage that says,

"Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink"

Woe unto them. Doesn't sound like a good thing for those who are mighty to drink wine and for those who mingle (make) strong drink. See, the Bible condemns the drinking of intoxicating beverages BEFORE the cross. Yes, we can drinking intoxicating beverages AFTER the cross, but we cannot get intoxicated or drunk off of them. We also cannot drink in such a way that would lead our brothers and sisters to potentially stumble either. We have liberty in Christ. But we are not to let our good be evil spoken of, though.
Woe unto you for calling good evil. It is saying that if you are mighty you have no need to drink wine. .....listen to yourself....you say "we are not let our good be evil spoken of" so stop it.

That is a huge perversion of that verse. It does not state that the Woe (or the Warning) was optional as you suggest. It just says Woe to them that mix strong drink. Woe to them. It doesn't say, Woe to unbelievers who mix strong drink and not believers. The Woe applies to everyone who mixes strong drink. Granted, this Woe (or Warning) applies to those who lived before the cross.

Again, I never said that a believer under the New Testament couldn't drink alcohol.

Believers in the OT drank alcohol.

Also, I believe Jesus drank wines or grape juices that were either freshly squeezed or wines where the fermentation process was haulted and then preserved. I believe this because this was still the time of the Old Testament.

Hence your hangup....for some strange reason you think that drinking alcohol was forbidden in the OT.

Jacked.

For Daniel had refused the king's wine and meat so as not to be defiled (Daniel 1:8). Proverbs 31 says wine is not for kings. Jesus was a king. The OT Scriptures say that to the OT saint that they were not even look at wine when showed that it was alcoholic. The OT Scriptures also says wine is a mocker, and that it can bite you like a serpent. So how exactly did the Son of the Living God or the Word made flesh ignore all these verses and just went ahead and did His own thing (Which would have broken His own Word?).

Not only do you NOT quote the scriptures to which you refer - but you IGNORE all the other scriptures which thwart your jaded worldview.

Grace, peace, and love to you from the Lord Jesus Christ. I want you to know that I am nothing and Jesus Christ is everything. It is Jesus' goodness and morality that I am seeking to uplift and glorify. I am defending His goodness as written within His Word. If you have a problem with the righteousness of Jesus Christ then I ask that you take it up with Him, my friend. For Jesus seeks to only love us and to do good things for us. He never wants us to do evil and or to condone evil things. Jesus wants us to walk in His good ways and to lead people into His love. A love that is so beautiful so perfect and so peaceful. That is what I am standing up for, my dear friend.

Anyways, may God's love shine upon you this fine day.
And please be well.

Sincerely,

~Jason.

No pastries either Daniel 10:3.

Your list is about drunkenness, not about drinking.
Only a fool cannot decern between a drink and drunk.
One is good, the other is a distortion of something good.

Actually I have provided 75 warnings against alcoholic beverages mentioned in Scripture.

No pastries either Daniel 10:3.
No, that is a completely different King and this was not done so as to refuse this King's food. It was also not pastries. It was bread. This refusal to eat bread was a part of his mourning for three full weeks.

Your list is about drunkenness, not about drinking.
Only a fool cannot decern between a drink and drunk.

Please read the list and look at the verses within that list. It does not only condemn drunkenness but it warns against the consumption of strong drinks themselves. Don't believe me. Just read the passages to find out.

Warnings about drunkenness. You take it too far though and say they are all warnings of even a drink!

Nothing of prohibition or even direction of abstinence for the faithful.

This is my last post to you unless I see a change.

It is good to preach morality, but a sin to twist Scripture in order to do so. The product is worthless if the path is not pure.
God does not need you to revise Scripture to produce holiness in Believers.

I pray that you will be humbled, and that the Spirit will give you understanding.

Lets start with YOUR very first example.

Instead of providing YOUR jaded summary, show the scripture and let it speak for itself.

Wow, you read all those verses within that list that quickly? I pray that you read those Scriptures and let God speak to your heart about the realities of alcohol (Both in the Old and New Testaments).

In any event, may God bless you.
And may His love shine upon you greatly, too.

Instead of providing YOUR jaded summary, show the scripture and let it speak for itself.

The list is a compilation of the warnings against drunkenness AND in drinking strong intoxicating beverages itself. You are looking at one verse within the list (that defends your view) and are ignoring the rest of them. Please look at all of them.

Yes, if Jesus provided strong drink He would fall under this Woe (or warning) to those who do make or mingle strong drink. That's what your failing to see.

Break the chains! Stop trying to stand at the throne of God. Live a little! Or a lot! Only drunkers can not be trusted to drink of the cup because they dont know when to say when. Stop pointing your finger and see that when you do there are three fingers pointed back at you. You have missed the whole meaning of this miracle.
