Have fun. Just remember one of the first tactics of a cult is to shmooze the unexpecting with ''love'' so as to disarm them and set them up for their indoctrination. Can't say we didn't warn you albeit imperfectly and 'unlovingly'.
I really have no intention of joining any religious organization. I just wanted to see where the caring was, and find out more about this movement. I really was born Wesleyan Methodist and married a Lutheran. I am searching for those that love Christ without the warm fuzzies, and cold pricklies, i.e. all those that are truly sincere, knowing that no one is perfect. The Bible says to trust no man, and I don’t. There is a ditch on either side of the straight path leading to the narrow gate. One ditch is legalism and the other is liberalism. The liberalistic ditch turns one over to self-justification without education. The legalism ditch turns one over to self-justification by a form and a fashion, which has no faith at all really. We were accused of being in the Hebrew Roots Movement simply because we wanted to understand what is written in the Bible, including the Mosaic law. I endured condemnation from others in cc before they knew the truth about our quest. THAT DOES NOT MAKE ME FALL FROM GRACE JUST BECAUSE I WANT TO KNOW!!!
We have been through more than our share of conflicts and sorrow because of religion. I have found who is and who isn't manifesting the fruit of the Spirit. The Bible says that if you find that I have a fault that there is a way to convince me if I am a sincere person.
Galatians 6:1-8 (KJV)
[SUP]1 [/SUP]Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
[SUP]2 [/SUP]Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]For every man shall bear his own burden.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
