I do know you haven't found rest. Your posts admit this. You are in a performance relationship with God and it is up to you to perform well enough. If you had rest, you would relate to God based on your position in Christ.
Paul himself did eventually worship the first day of the week...Acts 20. Collections were taken that day. It is referred to as the Lord's day. And a more careful translation of Matthew 28:1 would reveal a changing of the Sabbath to the first day of the week.
I'm going to ignore your first sentence because it shows me where you are, and more spiritual growth needed. No one rests in Christ by breaking His commandments Isa 48:18 Receiving Christ Spirit is conditional on our obedience to Him John 14:15 John 15:10 1 John 3:24 Acts 5:32. You call it performance based, the scriptures calls it love to God 1 John 5:3 John 14:15 Exo 20:6 John 15:10- God is the one doing, I just cooperate with Him and His law because I know He would not ask unless it was for our best interest,

A onetime offering is not a change in the commandment, nor does any scripture say day 1 is the Lords Day. Math 28:1 says nothing about a change in one of God's commandments. Its simply stating that after they rested according to the commandment Luke 23:56, they came to see His tomb. It shows how important keeping the Sabbath was for Jesus close followers, they kept it after His death because they knew Jesus never ended the Sabbath.

Guess we will all find out soon enough.

to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.

nothing about keeping the Sabbath...
Knows to do good... how? How do you know what is good.. some kids think it's good to lie, and some people think it is good to bow down to graven images.

The clearest definition of sin is ...

1Jn 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

So how do you know what is good and righteous?
Jesus is my perfect example and He perfectly obeyed the 10 commandments.

Any ways, nobody can keep the requirements given for keeping the Sabbath commands. They are lying if they say they can and do.
Phi 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
It requires faith... will you have faith?

Jud 1:24-25
24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, 25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

There is a stern warning about Paul writings that people twist to their own destruction. Can you duplicate your understanding of Paul in Col 2:16 with what Jesus taught and lived? Where did Jesus teach we don't need to keep the Sabbath? He taught not to break or teach others to break the least of these commandments Mat 5:19-30. The one commandments He said to remember, that is holy and blessed by God, is not a least commandment, but even if you think it is, He said not to break.

If not, the warning is for those who do not reconcile Paul's writings with Christ, Christ is our Savior and showed us the way leading by example if we abide in Him John 15:10 1 John 2:5-6. Did Jesus ever teach we don't need to keep the Sabbath commandment? Not once. He wrote, He spoke, He blessed, man cannot reverse, and sad they try.
Again it is you who is twisting. I never said not to keep the Sabbath. I said keep it correctly. The Sabbath isn't simply a day. It is a rest. The day is shadow of the rest one should have in Christ. God didn’t give a rest because He was tired. He rested because He was done with the work of creation. In like manner, Jesus sat down at the right hand of the Father signifying that He was done with the work of the re-creation or the new creation. We rest in His finished work for our redemption.
The reason I said you have no rest is because you are still striving to get everything exactly correct...as if anyone could. You push the commandments at yourself and anyone who will listen. Holiness isn't achieved through human endeavor. Try as you may, you will not become holy or keep the commandments through your personal striving. But you continue to try...NO REST.
Those whose hope is in the Lord endeavor to seek His kingdom and righteousness, walk trusting the Spirit to guide our obedience, and delight ourselves in God...REST. We aren’t trying to ggain God's approval continuously. We already have it in Christ.

I am going to have to go by what God said, He is our Creator, He is our Savior

He spoke these Words and wrote them with His own finger- there is no greater authority than He.

Exo 20:8 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. 11 For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.

The seventh day is the Sabbath. We rae to rest from work and labors, to keep the Sabbath day holy.

You seem to be confusing the rest we receive in Christ with the Sabbath rest. They are not the same rest.

The Sabbath rest is always on the seventh day. Exo 20:10 We rest from physical works and labors and keep the Sabbath day holy.

We enter Christ rest when we also crease from our works, as God did from His, on the seventh day

Heb 4: 10 For he who has entered His rest has himself also (this means in addition) ceased from his works as God did from His.
When did God cease from His works that we also must cease from ours if we have entered into His rest?

This passage tells us plainly
Hebrews 4: 4 For He has spoken in a certain place (Mt Sinai) of the seventh day in this way: “And God rested on the seventh day from all His works”;

Its can't be any plainer than this. Thats what I love about God's Word, it will always explain Itself if we allow it to.

Because in God's rest there is no rebellion to Him or His commandments, there is only peace

Isa 48:18 Oh, that you had heeded My commandments!
Then your peace would have been like a river,
And your righteousness like the waves of the sea.

I didn't write it for you to ignore. But what it does show is both your lack of understanding and discernment in spiritual matters. No doubt you have a zeal for God, but it is without knowledge.

You don't even understand that Jesus was under the old covenant. He performed plenty of things not required of those under the new covenant. Of course what Paul says is required of NT saints will differ from those who were under the old covenant. You are trying to put new wine into old wineskins. That's why this thread is bursting.

There was a Seventy-day Adventist named Desmond Doss who won the medal of honor in his role as a medic. It is an interesting story.
There are unbelievers who have won the Victoria Cross. They have interesting stories too. What is your point?

Here is the citation:
He was a company aidman when the 1st Battalion assaulted a jagged escarpment 400 feet high. As our troops gained the summit, a heavy concentration of artillery, mortar, and machine-gun fire crashed into them, inflicting approximately 75 casualties and driving the others back. Pfc. Doss refused to seek cover and remained in the fire-swept area with the many stricken, carrying them one by one to the edge of the escarpment and there lowering them on a rope-supported litter down the face of a cliff to friendly hands. On 2 May, he exposed himself to heavy rifle and mortar fire in rescuing a wounded man 200 yards forward of the lines on the same escarpment; and two days later he treated four men who had been cut down while assaulting a strongly defended cave, advancing through a shower of grenades to within eight yards of enemy forces in a cave's mouth, where he dressed his comrades' wounds before making four separate trips under fire to evacuate them to safety. On 5 May, he unhesitatingly braved enemy shelling and small-arms fire to assist an artillery officer. He applied bandages, moved his patient to a spot that offered protection from small-arms fire, and, while artillery and mortar shells fell close by, painstakingly administered plasma. Later that day, when an American was severely wounded by fire from a cave, Pfc. Doss crawled to him where he had fallen 25 feet from the enemy position, rendered aid, and carried him 100 yards to safety while continually exposed to enemy fire. On 21 May, in a night attack on high ground near Shuri, he remained in exposed territory while the rest of his company took cover, fearlessly risking the chance that he would be mistaken for an infiltrating Japanese and giving aid to the injured until he was himself seriously wounded in the legs by the explosion of a grenade. Rather than call another aidman from cover, he cared for his own injuries and waited five hours before litter bearers reached him and started carrying him to cover. The trio was caught in an enemy tank attack and Pfc. Doss, seeing a more critically wounded man nearby, crawled off the litter and directed the bearers to give their first attention to the other man. Awaiting the litter bearers' return, he was again struck, this time suffering a compound fracture of one arm. With magnificent fortitude he bound a rifle stock to his shattered arm as a splint and then crawled 300 yards over rough terrain to the aid station. Through his outstanding bravery and unflinching determination in the face of desperately dangerous conditions Pfc. Doss saved the lives of many soldiers. His name became a symbol throughout the 77th Infantry Division for outstanding gallantry far above and beyond the call of duty.

For me, I am going to stick with what God says, if you think loving God and obeying Him through faith and love is our work, you completely misunderstand the New Covenant. No one in the New Covenant is walking in His Spirit by being hostile to His law. Rom 8:7-8. There is another spirit looking to deceive us and teaching the opposite of everything God said, is not who I would listen to.

Anway, I know we are not going to agree, I'm okay with that, so I am going to leave it as agree to disagree, but wish you well.

We who treat Saturdays like any other day and through faith cease from works of the flesh, know that God is sanctifying us every day. So your statement - "Man says- get rid of the Sabbath. We can sanctify ourselves." is a false characterization of those who oppose your position.
We agree that we are saved by faith

But when Naaman came to Elisha ....
2Ki 5:9-11
9 So Naaman came with his horses and with his chariot, and stood at the door of the house of Elisha. 10 And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean. 11 But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the LORD his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper.

Naaman was angry and almost didn't obey. He felt insulted and almost walked away unhealed.

2Ki 5:12-14
12 Are not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? may I not wash in them, and be clean? So he turned and went away in a rage. 13 And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean? 14 Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.

Its faith that healed Naaman. But it was important for him to do what he was asked.

If he had of washed only once, or washed in a different river would that be real faith ?

Presumption and tradition is what stops most from enjoying the simple blessing found in the Sabbath day.

Obey God not man.

will you say that in order to know what sin is, you need to understand the law.

i agree that knowing the Law will not set anyone free from the power of sin.
Jesus is the only way.
But how do we confess our sins if we don't know what sin is.
Easy. We have a conscience. Do you not read the Bible? God's moral code is written in the heart. Everyone knows that it is wrong to steal and murder. However, no unbeliever knows that not loving God is sin. Or not loving your neighbour.

When I was born again, some things changed immediately. I was pretty much on my own so I had to fend for myself. I despised what I knew of church and I could not read the Bible. I knew straight away that I needed to find a church. I also had a strong desire to study God's word. No one had to tell me.

Would you say that the Ten Commandments are the details of each of the two under consideration? They explain how to love God and mankind?
No, all the commandments is say is what to do. There is nothing that tells us how.

It really is quite an amazing story. I am reading some more of the accounts here (<= link),
comparing facts to the fictional account, heavy on the facts. His father had an alcohol problem
and was prevented from killing Desmond's uncle when his mother phoned the police, so there
was some abuse, and it was that incident that caused Desmond to vow never to use a gun.

I'm not against keeping it. I'm against a strict adherence to a particular day.
If you promote Sunday sacredness, rather then keeping the Sabbath commandment, you are encouraging people to not obey God's commandments.
If you say keep any other day holy in the place of the 7th day you saying its okay to disobey the 4th commandment.

Should we obey God or man?

When God asked us to remember a day and keep it Holy, God was clear which day.
The sabbath. When men in there own way change things we have a choice.

Man's ways or God's ways.

Sunday sacredness is man made.

The 7th day was made holy and that's what God gave to man. Do miss this wonderful gift.

Non of it Scriptural.
Patently false of course.
When the Apostles kept the Sabbath and taught it was God's gift, as they led by the example of keeping it, you are wrong.

And you, not Dino, can never post a scripture that sustains your false teaching against the Sabbath.

Thanks for the laughs, though. Resting on a Sabbath redefined by you to mean doing good works.

You don't know anything about the life of Jesus. Jesus did good works on the Sabbath. Which is another reason the Pharisees wanted to prosecute him for the sin of breaking their Sabbath law.

Does that also give you a chuckle?

Oh, and what animal do you sacrifice in adhering to Sabbath commands?
Sadly, you don't pay attention so to know how ignorant you are in asking such a question.

By the way, you take the artistic works of others from various sources you find on the net in order to create the scripture "art" pieces you post here. You've done this for years.
This is why you don't sell your works online.
How do I know this?
You told me so a long time ago.

Yes,I know you.

Thou shalt not steal.

If you're not also going by the name Dino here, I'd be surprised. Your passive aggressive personality off line shows up on the Net too. On all the Christian sites you frequent.

Thank you for showing who you are.
