I think one of the major obstacles to a good debate is the fact that men don't really realize how little physichal power a woman has. To be completely honest, most of us don't stand a snowballs chance in (some warm place) if a man decides to get his way. Unfortunately this fact also influences on how a woman will be respondig to a man trying to get his way with her.

She might will think that he might go easier on her if she don't fight him, and fighting often will do no good cause she so physichally weak, and he might take that for a yes...so boys and men, think this over, yall are superior to us physichally, and if a woman doesn't explicitly says no, it sometimes means she is too afraid to say otherwise.

And another piece of advice. No woman likes a rapist or a man bullying her into saying "yes". We like gentlemen, let nobody fool yall into believing otherwise!

Yea Des, I get the hypocrisy of the feminist movement sometimes ....esp the lefty's who hijack the original feminist movement which was more about voting, equal pay etc then the stupid stuff they promote now about not using discriminatory pronouns such as they but being gender specific ...some have even hated the emails where it says his/her they scream sexism lol...silly imo far more impt issues than that.....but Des bro you lost me with the promiscuity isn't convenient thing? I didn't get what you were trying to say? Rape is 100% unconsentual otherwise it wouldn't be rape....of course it would be an inconvenience b/c you don't expect it....
I'll clarify this with a little story time with Des.

I know a man who had consensual sex with a girl in college. Very consensual.

The next day she was late to class and to avoid punishment for being late, said she was raped.

To be clear- this man was not a friend. I thought he was a complete and utter jerk, but a rapist? No.

In fact this girl later admitted to her friends that she was using it as an excuse. A very good friend of mine, whom I trust told me this (I am not given to believe unsubstantiated rumors).

Through a devilish sort of alchemy, she transmuted her one-night-stand into a life-ruining accusation.

Should he have slept with her? No and if he wasn't such a lech, he wouldn't be in the situation he's in.

But he wasn't a rapist.

I'm quite cognizant of these issues, Willie. I suppose what I am saying is that many aspects of our justice system are simply screwed up.

If we were to take how we treat the criminal justice system today as a whole and apply summary executions for rape, I would be against it. Totally, utterly and completely.

Again, proper trial and proper conviction are the first two steps. That has to be fixed first.
The big fly in the ointment. Look at how many much lesser crime convictions are steadily being disproven and overturned by the employment of modern techniques.... one being DNA. This, to me, is the big bug-a-boo in jumping on the Death Penalty Bandwagon.

Many of us don't really care if a few innocent people get fried... ("It's worth it in the overall scheme of things.").... UNLESS it was one of OUR loved ones who was railroaded.

This is very wrong. I have been shocked, over the years, at how many sex crimes (including rape and child molesting) never even happened. Both are one of the easiest things to claim... and to get to stick simply due to our outrage, that often precludes reason.
I started my career in law enforcement in 2000. At that time the FBI had conducted a study and found that out of 10 reported rapes, 9 were false reports.
We live in a society now that if a person was intoxicated, consented to sex, then regretted it the next day makes a rape. A man was convicted of rape in new York because the woman who consented to sex changed her mind midway and he took two thrust between her saying stop and him pulling out.
It would be a tragedy if those guys had to have their genitals removed over those circumstances. Not all men are rapist, and not all women are rape victims, although most men and women are stupid.
We have a big problem with rape-shield laws in many states. The accused are not afforded the same rights during his prosecution as those accused of any other crime. The defendant is not allowed to examine the evidence the same as in other cases and is often not allowed to question the credibility of the complaining witness.

True woman have less physical strength, but to be fair, women raping men happens as well...if you don't believe me just search google for a reddit thread about it and there are tons of stories of men getting drugged/drunk and women forcing themselves onto them....I will say men on women rape is far more prevalent but the women on men rape still exists and most law enforcement officers don't take guys seriously when they report it to the police....many LEo's just laugh it off and say the guy enjoyed it and is trying to make a scene, but reading some on reddit there are a lot of college aged and younger guys who have been emotionally damaged from being ridiculed/unbelief from friends of being raped, to lowering their "manliness' b/c they were raped by a woman....truly society has become drunk on sex both m on f and f on m rape is appalling....

I don't know where you're from, but in Virginia, a woman can not rape a man. A man can not be a victim of rape. It's the way the law is.

Got to say, that although I have seen young men seduced by cougars when they weren't all that much into it, I have never heard of out-and-out rape. The pure physical functionality of the whole thing kind of makes the actual completion problematic.

Justice does not really exist in this world. Come Lord Jesus.

I am sorry if I offended anyone with my posts here, and I am especially sorry if I have misunderstood anything you said, Des. I do think you are a decent person and I have enjoyed any conversations we have had in other threads. My apologies.

That being said, this is, yes, a touchy issue. It is true that promiscuity is a problem, but nobody should blame a woman's promiscuity on her being raped. I am not saying anyone said this. It is simply a statement of fact.

There is a huge divide between what men say they want and how they behave. This affects the whole social order. We all want peace, and to have a good life. Deception runs rife in many forms to ruin this.

God made man and gave woman as a helper. Let's start there, at the beginning. Sin entered as a result of man's disobedience to God, and then man blamed woman. Okay, we got that part. Still, men are supposed to be the ones with authority, and leaders. We get that. Really we do. But then men fall down, and the whole social order collapses. Women simply follow suit. To say that there is only a choice between women behaving one way to achieve a certain end ignores the fact that men do the very same thing they don't like women doing. Men are the leaders. They have set the template.

On the one side you have men behaving badly, then they try to control the women so that they do not behave just as badly. On one extreme of this you have something like Islam and burkas. Women have no say, no freedom, and probably live in fear of their lives. They are often forced to share their husbands with three other women. Does a woman have the option of having four husbands? Of course not. Why? Double standard.

Not to mention, law enforcement rarely believes that the MAN was raped by a WOMAN. They're like "seriously? SHE raped YOU even though you outweigh her by 200 pounds?".. But yeah, like Ultimatum said, it does happen. Women can drug and rape men just as easily as men can drug and rape women.

Just because your body responds a certain way does not mean
you are up for it. Please excuse the (unintentional) pun.

The closest thing I can think of is teacher-student statutory rape. But it's statutory rape.

And let's face it, the mental toll on a teenage boy who has sex with his (to him) hot, 20-something teacher isn't nearly as mentally damaging.

I don't believe rape has that much to do with sexuality. I think it is a way of exercising power. Some folks need to do that, and more often than not, they are picking out vulnerable people that can't defend themselves. A lot of women fits right into that can't defend themselves description. If you are drunk, you're even more vulnerable. I can't say this often enough, but girls/women should not get drunk, becuase by doing so we are exposing ourselves to predators.

God's laws have been instituted largely for our own protection. There is a reason why we are told to flee sexual immorality and not get drunk. He knows more than anyone the greater evils these things tend to invite.

The sad part is, I have very personal experience to back up that opinion. Still alive. God be praised :p

True, but with all the pro-homo stuff lately I'm sure rape rates of men maybe even M on M are increasing...

this is the story I saw on the web....

Men share experiences of being raped by women on secret Whisper app | Daily Mail Online
But see thats the thing, under common law and how states write the rape law, the victim has to have a vagina and that vagina must be penetrated by a penis by force or fear of force to make a rape. Otherwise it is a sexual battery and is treated as a lesser offense as far as punishment goes.
