Based on this:
"The living know that they shall die: but the dead know not anything, have they anymore a reward. For the memory of them is forgotten. Also there love, hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they anymore a portion in anything done under the sun."
"There is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave whither thou goest." Eccl 9:5,6
"So man lieth down and riseth not, til the heavens be no more, they shall not awake nor be raised out of their sleep." Job 14:12
"His spirit departs, he returns to his earth. In that very day his thoughts perish." Psalm 146:4
I don't believe a witch nor Satan can raise the dead. I don't believe A witch or satan can speak with the dead.
I don't believe that Samuel would ask this question if he was raised from the dead. "Why have you disturbed me by bringing me up?" Is that somthing that dead people say when they are raised from the dead??? Would you say that?
Based on the above scriptures, I see a significant contradiction. If Samuel was already dead,, the dead know nothing,, nor would samuel ( i think it was a demon) have any knowledge of time passed or of events to occur. He died, his thoughts perished, and he had no conception of how much time had passed since his death... Lot of red flags there!
Also keep in mind,, Samuel NEVER appears to Saul. Only to the Witch!
At any rate,, truly an amazing story.
