Daniel prayed 3 times a day even under the threat of death, but if temptation comes our way during the day we can just pray to him in our minds and surrender to Him, when we are tempted we either surrender to God or temptation

i didn't think i was, since i THOUGHT my life was transformed.

Come on zone, your saved, and you know it's not about glorifying the flesh, and I'm sure you know the meaning of surrender, old self to new in Christ. And everytime you read the bible your having a conversation without even realizing it. Pray is our greatest assurance, guards our hearts and mind in Christ Jesus.

Honestly, you just need to humble yourself Kathy and not be "Martha martha" being pseudo humble is no different to just slashing the wheat down with the tares to get to the tares.

Meaning if these little chidlren DONT Abide in him, they WONT have confidence when he apears, and WILL be ashamed before him.

but they will still be His children.

We do not do works to be saved (or stay that way) but because we ARE Saved. It is called blessed assurance.

If I thought I lost my salvation every time I sinned and was lost until I repent. I am essence making my salvation a works that I have to maintain and keeping myself and not trusting in God to keep me.

I'm not sure if that is what you are saying Df, pretty sure it is not but I know that is what Cobus says and believes, which is why though he believes Jesus has presented him before God as His child, he does not believe it because he does not think it is what GOD does through JESUS death at the cross (not really) but what God does through him. only when HE is like Jesus will Cobus think he is saved.

I think a call for prayer, study and sound doctrine is needed.

anyways I'll leave with this verse, reminding us that though we are NOT saved by good works we are Called and Saved so that we might walk in them and do them.

Question: If you ask your son or daughter to clean their room, would you be made if

this term actually means escorted, directed, contained, hemmed in, lifted and carried, even taken as in under arrest...same word. same meaning. OWNED.

LED BY THE SPIRIT.

delivered BY God the Holy Spirit to redemption and fully glorification in that Day.

but: some would have us believe The Godhead is unable to perform the very thing He purposed from the beginning.

they say led by the Spirit means God runs on ahead and we grope around and hope we don't get lost or left behind. that God will leave us sitting in an alley because we couldn't "follow" the Holy Spirit.

I am a BIG sinner and I LOVE my life.

On one particular Sunday I go to church and the People sing the Lord&#8217;s Prayer. And my life flash before me&#8230;.What a mess&#8230; Immedieately all I loved before is now DIRT. I feel all these people singing here is so holy, and I am so dirty&#8230; I was broken there, how could I be so stupid to do these things, man did I hate myself?

Then I wanted it changed! I wanted all this GONE!!! And so I started to go to church more regulary&#8230; Soon I was exactly like the others that were so holy, but it was actually not as holy as I thought. They still sinned. Now I was still dissappointed with myself, I still hate the sin in me&#8230;

But I have to be wrong, because we will always be sinners right? And Jesus did die for my sins, the past present and future sin&#8230;So I am OK!!! God forgives me every time I ask forgiveness. GOOD! I am glad I still hate the sin, because it proofs I am REBORN! YEAH I AM SAVED!!!!!
