I agree, though I feel the need to say there isnt an epidemic of Christians going out and harming those who live this life that I know of : p Just standing with the word of God that it is wrong.

Right. It's a small, vocal minority that are to blame. And even then, much of it seems to be media propaganda at work.
We do live in an age where disagreeing=hate, so I guess it makes sense that the world would want to try to make it seem like Christians are on the attack : p
You know I have heard that statistic about the divorce rate being high among Christians, but actually that statistic does not tell the whole story and is actually wrong. There was a recent article in Alliance Life, a Christian magazine where a Christian statistician examined the common statistics that get mentioned by pastors, in sermons, etc and a lot of them were not facts but were actually myths and the author of the article even published a book about the problem of incorrect statistics with a very long name. His name is Warren Bird and the article can be found on the Alliance Life section of the Christian and Missionary Alliance website. I forget the name of the book, but it should be interesting reading if I ever get it. Just wanted to mention that. God bless.

Yes, and while the world makes it seem like Christians are on the attack, the overall tone of the media and the world have been to attack morality and born again believers.
Not just mentioning that the Lord who created us says that it is an abomination,... asking a Priest or Clergy member to sin and be Hypocritical of their Doctrine they Preach to bless something sinful is just... wrong.

Kaylagirl is being crystal clear, it is sadly you who is confused. She is not denying that God is love, but that is not all he is. God is a Righteous Judge, full of holy wrath, our advocate (defense attorney), the Lamb, the Lion of Judah, etc. Jesus is God and that is why He is the righteous judge. In the New Testament, he never claims to not be God. He even says a lot of I Ams which ticked off the Jewish authorities and others. He said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" in John 14:6. He even calls God his Father, something that no mere Jew would call God. In Revelation he says "I am the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End" in Revelation 21:6 and Revelation 22:13. When Jesus was baptized by John (the Baptist and not the other one), God the Father says, " this is my Son whom I love, with him I am well pleased" and even before that the Holy Spirit like a dove alights on him in Matthew 3:16-17. Another passage Jesus asks the disciples who do they say he is, some of them give the answers of the day, that he is Elijah, Moses, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets. Jesus then asks Peter who does he say Jesus is and this is Peter's response in Matthew 16:16-17 and Jesus' response to his answer: "You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven."
Also, in Acts 17:30-31, It is talking about God the Father and Jesus judging the world. Notice it says He (God) has fixed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness through a Man (Jesus Christ) whom he has appointed, having furnished proof to all men by raising Him (Jesus) from the dead. I am wondering if you are a Jehovah's Witness or are selectively reading your Bible.

Once again I said we cannot say God IS ONLY ALL LOVE. I didn't say God wasn't love so do not put words in my mouth,thank you. God is ALSO the righteous judge. He is BOTH at one time. Never did I say God was not love. So lets move on from there.
We have a guide as to how to witness to the lost. Its called the gospel. People do not understand what Christ did until they understand why he did it. They need to know that God is sovereign and holy. They need to understand that he sent himself in the flesh to fulfill the law because we are wicked and he isnt. We cannot be in the presence of YAH without the blood of Jesus on our lives ie born again in Christ. We cannot be righteous on our own merit and thats why he atoned for our sins.
The only people Christ built relationships with was his apostles. Christ sat with sinners to tell them about salvation. Right before Christ told the woman at the well to "go and sin no more" he told her she was guilty of living with many men. He pointed out HER SIN. Telling her the truth was loving! Christ didnt form relationships with sinners! He did not hang out with them. He was with sinners to do certain things such as perform miracles so that would believe and even then many did not believe! Peoples hearts change because God is literally dragging them into the kingdom! Sinners dont want to turn from their sinful lives. It takes a miracle from the Father! Developing relationships is not what the bible teaches to spread the good news. Your thinking about that was brought on by a steeple you attend. It wasnt God who taught you that! Telling the truth is not belittling a sinner but it is being real with them. If they dont want to hear it;they may at a later date. Thats up to God. Its your job to tell it to them straight up and not be fearful of rejection. Planting seed for the harvest is what we are called to do. We do not know how long that certain person may be on this earth. God may send us to witness and minister to a person because they are not going to be here for much longer! 150,000 people die daily!

To those eleven who say that a mature Christian can support same-sex marriage that is not what the Bible says. Jesus makes it clear in Matthew and Mark that marriage is between one man and one woman (he was quoting from Genesis 2) and not what this culture, world, society, wants it to be. Always look to what the word says not what man and the world say it says. You are either Christians and are confused about this or you are not Christians at all and need to repent (change your mind), accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and sovereign Lord, that he died on the cross for your sins, and rose again on the third day and accept that the Bible is the word of God and is used for correcting as well as other things as said in 2 Timothy 3:16.
