The point though is that the angel says in Rev, 17:7 that he is explaining the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her and your focused only on a particular king so your missing the beast that he says is in the pit at that time who was to ascend out of the pit. Let me ask you this then if Rome,Nero is that beast that would set up an image and kill those who would not worship it then would it be possible for Paul to say to see it as ordained by God(Romans 13:1)? I want to come back to this about Jerusalem/Israel but you realize if this is true then it received it's deadly wound in ad70 and if it was that one in the pit in Revelation 17:8 then Revelation would have been written after ad70 correct?
