TL;DR: Is ugliness due to the Fall? Also, this is just food for thought, don't get offended.
This may seem... offensive to some, but hear me out. Do you think that ugliness is due to the Fall? Everything God made was good. When you look through nature, some would say you see beauty all around us. So my point in regards to humanity, is that God must have made Adam and Eve beautiful and only after the Fall did old age and deterioration come into play. Which then led to gene mutation and so on. So, would it not be far fetched to consider that ugliness rather than being how God made a person, is rather due to the Fall and curse?
This being the case, this discussion could take an interesting turn into getting surgery to make yourself feel confident. If your looks are indeed due to the Fall and are less than... attractive, then its okay to "change yourself." People say, "Oh but God made you that way. You are changing how God made you." However, considering the Fall and how that has affected our DNA, is it really how God made you? Or is the process due to genetics and indeed, the genetics are flawed from what once was perfection? If someone wants to alter their appearance, whether it be simple work or what have you, is it perfectly fine to do, if it expands one's comfort zones? What reason(s) would be suitable, or is it your own body and do what you please?
Why would God make something ugly? For what reason? Is it to make that which is beautiful look all the better? Comparably, people say darkness exists and therefore light shines brighter. But God did not create evil, because He is love. In the same way, how could anyone think God made them ugly? No... it goes back to the Fall.
